Should you sign up as an Individual or a Company?

You should sign up as a company if you're among these

• any enterprise type company
• i.e., TV stations, radio stations, music labels, broadband / digital media delivery companies, film studios, sports clubs, adult business companies, etc.
• all usual companies except if you fit in the 'individual' category below

You should sign up as an individual if

• You're a home user and you want to sell content on a private basis (even though you might register your income on a single-person company)
• You're an artist selling on an individual basis (although you might register your income on a company)
• You're a band or group, or represents a band or group, who's going to sell content coming from a single source (such as your band) online, even though you might register your income on a company.
