Custom Integration Examples
You might want to more seamlessly integrate product presentation, payment and
license delivery with your own web site or e-commerce site. To do this, we
provide a System API (Application Programming Interface, based on Web Services)
which you can use to completely bypass our default integration.
The following examples demonstrates some examples of how this can be done.
These examples use the "URL Redirection" feature of the system to send all
license requests for some arbitrary selected content to a custom web page. This
web page use the System API to present the products/licenses to the user, and
uses custom written code to handle payment/login or any other means of authorization
before any licenses are delivered to the user. The page is presented in the pop-up
window of Windows Media Player, and thus uses the "post-delivery" method of license
delivery (see How it works->Step 4. Delivery for more information).
